I remember when I was mad at the world. I used to say life is not fair, nothing goes my way. I used to blame others and complain about how bad things were. I got tired of feeling like a victim, I began researching how to empower myself. This was a new energy, personal power can be an exhilarating experience. It was time to take off my mask and stop pretending that I was this victim. Becoming self aware helped me see the real enemy, which are within. I went on a spiritual journey because I asked myself who am I, and what is the meaning of my life. I began to see that I had to look in the mirror, sometime later I began to realize that this is about self-awareness. I wanted to remember what past experiences conditioned me to be who I am now, I wanted to know who was in control, was it my pain, my insecurities, or my authentic self? Later I wanted to experience ego death, what many call spiritual enlightenment or a Conscious person. Years later, my yoga, and chakra experience led me to die and be reborn, this time with everlasting life. This path is not for everyone, working on yourself to become self-aware is more than enough. I used to believe just because someone was full of knowledge, wisdom, and understanding, talking deep, I thought this meant that this person was conscious. I was constantly evolving, I later had more inner experiences that led me to witness that I was wrong, that is just a highly intellectual person who is aware of many, many things. The unaware are the majority which is society, living based on what is given, and eating and sleeping. I spent many years blaming everyone else for my personal issues, I found out that I was not willing to forgive myself and others.
