I went on a spiritual journey because I asked myself who am I, and what is the meaning of my life. I began to see that I had to look in the mirror, sometime later I began to realize that this is about self-awareness. I wanted to remember what past experiences conditioned me to be who I am now, I wanted to know who was in control, was it my pain, my insecurities, or my authentic self? Later I wanted to experience ego death, what many call spiritual enlightenment or a Conscious person. Years later, my yoga, and chakra experience led me to die and be reborn, this time with everlasting life. This path is not for everyone, working on yourself to become self-aware is more than enough. I used to believe just because someone was full of knowledge, wisdom, and understanding, talking deep, I thought this meant that this person was conscious. I was constantly evolving, I later had more inner experiences that led me to witness that I was wrong, that is just a highly intellectual person who is aware of many, many things. The unaware are the majority which is society, living based on what is given, and eating and sleeping. The unplugged are those who live outside of the program, they observe society just following orders. [more]

I believe that there are spiritual methods to unload pain from our hearts. This is why becoming self-aware is important. I believe that we came here to experience life as it is, not selfishly how we want it to be. We all must experience the positive and negative, the problem happens when we deny the bad as if we are so special. We are also able to heal and detach from past experiences when we allow ourselves to grow inwardly. Negative experiences happen to help us mature. Our personal beliefs about ourselves affect our mood and feelings. So I had to ask myself what beliefs do I have that are causing me to stay insecure, angry, or depressed?
