Life can be wonderful; then again, life can be a total mess especially for a young boy just emerging from childhood into puberty and adulthood. Being a teenager can be a bitch at the best of times but when trying to cope with a family break-up it is even tougher. The following chapters are pieces of my life from ages twelve to eighteen in a South Africa fraught with racism. It is a snapshot of my life through the years written as a series of short anecdotes. Some are sad, some are funny, some are uplifting and some are naughty but hopefully all will entertain. Writing this has been difficult yet fulfilling.
