I was fascinated by the way you introduced the Creole into your story; it made the story even more vivid for me.

I knew a bit about the county because I went to a church that has a mission down there [sadly two of the native teachers were killed in the earthquake]but the usage of language never came up.

In my researching the story I found to my amazement that while French is the 'state... Show more

Hi Paula,

I have to say, I love your dog drawings. Very cute, they made me laugh.

Goodluck.

Very timely tale of love and survival.
I appreciate the larger print, and the teamwork between you and Prescott.

Great job, and good luck with this lovely work.

thank you for your comments - our stories are meant to touch a child's heart and humor. This book does not have as much humor in it as the previous ones but then being buried under rubble is serious. I am glad you like this story....Paula
