I spam you with Leaxyton because I love it a lot. So much. Oh my gosh.

~There was a silent agreement between the two. PDA; Public Display of Affection. Or in their case, DAW (and yes, Leax had most definitely giggled and commented how suiting it was that DAW also happened to be Dayton's initials); Display of Affection at Work. The agreement being to keep it at a minimum. Not so much because it was unprofessional- God, no. They would be unprofessional all over Dayton's office all day if they wanted to -no, it was more for their safety. Charlotte didn't take kindly to those going against her contracts, and neither of them were willing to risk getting caught doing so.

But when work-days drug on into work-weeks, keeping Dayton there to deal with idiots, kill idiots, do idiot paperwork and food and sleep turned into coffee and ten minute naps. He was growing restless. Not only with work, but with their agreement. Even more annoying was the fact that they hadn't gotten a moment alone in almost a month didn't seem to bother Leax one bit. There wasn’t even a flicker. No hint of any sort that he was the tiniest bit bothered by their current situation, and that was bothersome.

"Careful, if you stare too long, you might burn a hole in him."

Dayton jumped, the document in his hand flying into the air and its paper contents raining down to the floor. He looked down at Vee, who stared with an amused look. "What?"

"You," Vee pointed through the window that displayed the other room, where Leax sat in his usual chair, playing with his gun, "have been standing here watching him for almost two minutes. I've been timing it." She tapped her watch. "He's better at it than you are."

He blinked. She always said things so cryptically, forcing you to ask questions. It didn't usually, but right now, he was annoyed by this. He was irritable, everything was just so angering. He hadn't seen Dakota in only God knew how long and- dammit, if he were honest with himself he was exhausted and wanted sex. "Better at what?"~
