Para celebrar o “ano de Darwin” em 2009, a revista alemã Die Zeit publicou um artigo de duas páginas com a manchete “Muito obrigado, Darwin!”, acompanhado de quatro páginas falando sobre a evolução. Esse agradecimento foi para um homem que nasceu há 200 anos. Seu “revolucionário” livro A Origem das Espécies foi publicado há 150 anos. [Naquela época, nada se sabia sobre o DNA, o armazenamento de informações genéticas e sua transmissão].O filósofo Immanuel Kant (1724-1804) já afirmava, cheio de orgulho: “Dêem-me matéria, e dela farei um mundo”. Cinqüenta anos mais tarde, o matemático e astrônomo francês Laplace (1749-1827) vangloriava-se diante de Napoleão: “Minhas teorias não precisam da hipótese chamada ‘Deus’.” Esses e outros pais do ateísmo científico buscavam uma explicação para a origem da vida em que Deus pudesse ser descartado. Nowadays people do not bring the terms “evolution” and “theory” together – the evolution of all forms of life over a period of billions of years by chance is taken for granted. Werner Gitt will prove in this tract that it is not true. He shows the debility of this theory with the help of some concrete examples. He also spells out the general argument of the unknown origin of all information, which leads to the declaration of DEATH for the theory of evolution. Several years ago Lord Rosebery founded, in the University of Edinburgh, a lectureship on "The Philosophy of Natural History," and I was invited by the Senatus to deliver the lectures. This invitation I accepted, and subsequently constituted the material of my lectures the foundation of another course, which was given in the Royal Institution, under the title "Before and after Darwin." Here the course extended over three years--namely from 1888 to 1890. The lectures for 1888 were devoted to the history of biology from the earliest recorded times till the publication of the "Origin of Species" in 1859; the lectures for 1889 dealt with the theory of organic evolution up to the date of Mr. Darwin's death, in 1882; while those of the third year discussed the further developments of this theory from that date till the close of the course in 1890. I 2009 feiret man Darwin-året. Den tyske avisen «Die Zeit» utgav ved den anledning en dobbeltsidig artikkel med overskriften «Takk Darwin!». Videre var det skrevet hele fire sider om temaet evolusjon. Takken retter seg til en mann som ble født for 200 år siden. Hans revolusjonerende bok «Artenes opprinnelse» ble utgitt for 150 år siden.Allerede den tyske filosofen Immanuel Kant (1724-1804) påstod med stolthet: «Gi meg materie, så skal jeg bygge ut en verden av den.» Også den franske matematikeren og astronomen Laplace (1749-1827) hoverte overfor Napoleon: «Mine teorier trenger ikke hypotesen «Gud»». Disse og andre fedre av vitenskapelig ateisme søkte etter en forklaring på livets opphav hvor Gud ikke forekommer. Den tilsynelatende løsningen kom fra Darwin, som gjorde det mulig å forklare livets opphav på «naturlig måte». Mens han selv tvilende nølte med tanke på konsekvensene av sin påstand, tiljubles han stadig som den store foregangsmann av den nå så gudløse verden.... [more]

Éppen a 2009-es Darwin-év előtt, 2008. december 31-én a „DIE ZEIT” folyóiratban megjelent egy kétoldalas cikk „Köszönjük, Darwin!” címmel, amelyhez négy további egész oldalas cikk társult. A köszönet annak az embernek szólt, aki 200 évvel ezelőtt született, és akinek 150 éve jelent meg „A fajok eredete” című forradalmian új könyve.Már Immanuel Kant filozófus (1724–1804) büszkén állította: „Adjatok nekem anyagot, és én építek belőle egy világot”. Laplace francia matematikus és csillagász (1749–1827) 50 évvel később ezt válaszolta Napóleon kérdésére: „Elméleteimnek nincs szükségük Isten feltételezésére”. A tudományos ateizmus eme és későbbi atyái az élet eredetének olyan magyarázatát keresték, amelyben Isten nem fordul elő. 31. prosince 2008 vyšel v německých novinách „DIE ZEIT“ dvoustránkový článek s titulkem „Díky, Darwine!“, přesně načasovaný k začátku „Darwinova roku“ 2009; tématu evoluce tam byly věnovány ještě další čtyři strany. Poděkování patřilo muži, který se narodil před 200 lety a jehož revoluční kniha „O vzniku druhů“ vyšla před 150 lety.Už německý filozof Immanuel Kant (1724-1804) pyšně prohlásil: „Dejte mi hmotu, a já z ní vybuduji svět.“ Také francouzský matematik a astronom Laplace (1749-1827) triumfoval o 50 let později před Napoleonem slovy: „Moje teorie hypotézu ‚Bůh’ nepotřebují.“ Tito a další otcové vědeckého ateismu hledali vysvětlení původu života, kde by Bůh nebyl potřebný. S odpovědí, která zdánlivě představovala řešení, přišel Darwin, který nabídl myšlenkový koncept, jak vznik života vysvětlit „přirozeným způsobem“.
