Warum ist eigentlich noch niemand auf die Idee gekommen eine Metaregel einzuführen, die dafür Sorge trägt, dass unser Konsum im Ergebnis fair und Co2- neutral vonstatten geht? Und wer ist eigentlich auf die Idee gekommen, dass der Verbraucher dafür Sorge zu tragen hat, dass ER seinen Konsum fair und Co2-neutral gestaltet? Waren es nicht die Wirtschaftswissenschaften, die Lobby der Handelstreibenden, die durch die Nicht-Zuständigkeit bei dieser Verantwortung mehr Geld für ihren eigenen Konsum generieren konnten? Für den Verbraucher steht seine ihn umgebende (soziale) Nah-Welt im Vordergrund und es gelingt viel zu wenigen die Welt anderswo, will heißen die globalen Auswirkungen ihres Konsums, so im Gedächtnis zu halten, dass Mensch und Natur anderswo kein Schaden keinen Schaden nehmen würden Ich finde, dass wir deshalb eine Meta-regel brauchen, weil der Verbraucher nicht hinreichend in der Lage ist seinen Konsum auf Nachhaltigkeit umzustellen, dies aber gleichzeitig notwendig ist! Von Anbeginn der Evolution waren der Mensch und seine Vorfahren in den engen Bereich der sie umgebenden Nahwelt eingebunden. Auch das Aufkommen des abstrakten Denkens änderte nichts an der empfundenen Einbindung in die sinnlich wahrnehmbare (soziale) Nah-Welt. Wie kann der Staat erwarten, dass vom Verbraucher ein sich Hineinversetzen in geographisch entlegene Bereiche vor einem Fühlen mit der eigenen Nah-Welt favorisiert wird, wenn es einfach nicht der Fall ist, weil die Aufmerksamkeit konkurriert. Kurzzeitig gab es zwar eine Höhergewichtung des rationalen Denkens vor dem Fühlen mit der Nah-Welt. Diese kam aber erst spät in unserer Evolution und auch nur für kurze Zeit auf, und zwar durch die Buchdruckgesellschaft. Für einige Jahrzehnte gab also eine kritische Rezeption des globalisierten Welthandels.
