I am a 38-year-old man who once had narcissistic tendencies. I like sharing my experiences, I hope it can help others as it did for me. I have read and watched videos about how horrible a narcissist can be as if we are only capable of abuse and ruining other's lives. I decided now is the time for me to speak up and stand up for other narcissists. How did I recover? I have spent years working on myself to understand my past and my internal wounds, I wanted to see what was a narcissist's fullest potential. Did my personality disorder seal my fate, was I forever doomed with no hope? Eventually, after my slow recovery, I realized that I was afraid to face what I was feeling. I was afraid to feel, this was the reason why I was very selfish. Holding ourselves back keeps us looking back at ourselves so that we avoid how we truly feel. This behavior only keeps us disconnected from others because we avoid paying attention to how others feel. My spiritual practices lead me to experience genuine self-love, unconditional love then compassion for all life. I had no idea that I could reach a state of balance and harmony within. As a powerful empath, I began to see that the result of my inner work moved me to become a lightworker. My book is here to support those who feel lost or misguided by negative ideas. I know that every person has the potential to evolve to experience unconditional love and compassion, only if one genuinely chooses to. I never said that this would be easy because we are who we are. My grand-grandparents had in their house a servant they brought long time before from Mexico. Her name was Freda. She had a big overflowing breast. Before she would put me to bed she’d take me in her arms and set my nose between her tits. I’ll take a plunge there and get asleep very fast against my will. She smelled always like cayenne pepper mixed with basil. Sometimes before I went to sleep I could see a beautiful woman that grand-grandpa would call “the Blond Harlot” getting in and out of the pub. Most of the time she was dressed in black, with a low cut silk blouse and a short skirt - so short that I could see her panties - and wearing high hills shoes that made her look like she was stepping on hot coals. The warm breeze in the evening made me feel better than the midday hot wind. Then the warm breeze faded away to get replaced by a sandy wind. Within minutes the town got deserted. It was like the whole thing that used to move around would retire to rest. No more voices or laughs or curses: lights of the pub and houses around would gently go to sleep under blinds and rags. In Leonardo's house there lives a Wretch, which is another word for a special kind of servant that every house in the city has. In fact, Wretches are all over the city, being put to use to do every conceivable work that can bring the people comfort. Recently, questions have arisen regarding the true nature of Wretches. What are they? Where did they come from? What underlies their servitude to the people? At first the answers to these questions are accepted with great enthusiasm by everyone, including Leonardo and his family. And including Jessica, the leader of a rising movement of people who want the truth to come out. But with time it appears that the answers are not as they seemed, and the people start to reject them. Soon, Jessica is torn down from her pedestal and is renounced as a dangerous heretic. The people want a certain truth, and they will not accept anyone who questions it. And when even his mom joins the crowd, Leonardo is left confused at his chessboard, where his thoughts are the clearest. What is true, and what is right? And how could a little boy with an emotional deficiency be right when everyone else tells him he's wrong?
