The whole cave was soon filled with water. We couldn't swim. We couldn't breathe and lying there with our heads immersed in the water was not the most pleasing thing in the world. In ferner Zukunft ist die Erde von unbekannten Geschehnissen zerstört worden. Ob die Oberfläche verseucht, verstrahlt oder sonst irgendeind lebensfeindliches Kriterium besitzt, ist keinem klar, und somit ist die Chance der Menschen auf eine Rückkehr auf diese verschwindend gering. Durch die Ereignisse bildeten sich unter der Erdoberfläche Tunnel- und Höhlensysteme, die an manchen Stellen so geräumig ausfielen, dass dort Menschen siedeln konnten. Zwischen unserer Zeit und dem Leben unter der Oberfläche liegen nun Generationen, jedoch wurden sämtliche Güter und Waren der Vorzeit weiter beherbergt und produziert. Somit unterscheidet sich das Leben nur von ihrer Umgebung, und den neuen, unbekannten Gefahren, die der Mensch nun hinnehmen muss. Wir begleiten den Mann Venom, der unter der Oberfläche schon mehr als genügend erlebt hat. Als er jedoch durch ein unangenehmes Ereignis im Gefängnis landet, und schon mit sich selbst abgeschlossen hat, ergibt sich für ihn eine Chance, sein Leben auf eine vollkommen neue Art und Weise zu führen. George Forrest Browne (4 December 1833 – 1 June 1930) was an English bishop, the first Anglican Bishop of Stepney from 1895[1] until 1897[2] when he was appointed Bishop of Bristol.
