The chosen bi-monthly book will be a long (and hopefully completed) book for us to take our time with (and for those members who are unable to visit the site often enough to discuss a book each week).
The chosen weekly books will be short (and often unfinished) books for those members who wish to actively participate in this group.
****A read and review means that we will be sharing our opinions about the story, ideas to improve it, any suggestions for the author, and any related discussions that evolve from reading each book (this could include discussions about relevant world news, any similar books you may have read, something your mom always says, etc).
We all have different opinions about what is considered 'good writing' and this is the place for us to share our thoughts.
HOWEVER, if any of the comments are hurtful or offensive in any way, they will be removed, so please keep in mind that members of all ages are allowed to participate.
****For the members who are over 18, I will be posting a bonus 18+ book each month, short or long, for us to review. I don't want to exclude those books from this group just because of their rating :)
I will message members about each new book and there will be a sticky thread where you can leave your comments/discussions about each book.
****After you read the book, it would also be really swell if you could leave a message for the author on their book's page. If you like the book, you are more than welcome to "heart" it as well.
PLEASE DO NOT add your book to the group's "Booklist" because I am going to use it as a place to list books after the BookClub has read them - like an archive.

What's your method of choosing books? How do you know which ones to use for the monthly and weekly readings?
You can suggest a book in the related discussion thread and then I will choose a book to be read each week (and each month) from the list of books recommended by the BookClubbers!
