I always liked the snow. The way it fell gently and softly from the sky above. Or, when it landed on your nose and you could see the perfect white snowflake. All in all, my favorite is when you wake up after a blizzard or a snow storm. In Pennsylvania, it was perfectly normal to wake up in early January and find the world covered in a thick layer of beautiful white snow. Great old maple trees that were once covered in green leaves in the summer, were now bare and covered in snow. Or the Ever Green trees covered in white and green. Winter is magic……. So what if I told you that magic is real?

I like the final cover - it would be super cool if you could make the background around her into something darker - like black swirling with blue... or something like that. It would be really dramatic. :)

You've got the bases for a very creative and entertaining story. My only critique would be to start new paragraph for every person speaking. You've got good descriptions of the characters, though I feel they are a bit blunt or perhaps a better word is rushed. I do like the fact the story begins the way it does with the character being thrown into a"action" There were no grammar misspelling that caught my eye as I read but... Show more
