Can’t believe I haven’t caught this before. A real live ghost story, told with candour and atmosphere. This is an intriguing story that makes the reader wish for more. There was just enough character development to push the story along nicely. Even the dog’s fear gives a subtle hint as to where the story was going.

There was no need to flesh out the ghosts, but I would have liked the writer’s flair for writing to do so in... Show more

Really goes well, with the weirdness and the old troopers scaring the people. Very well written.

Marieta, Steve, Joe, ashokaatreya, four.oclock, and Bek..thank you all for stopping by, reading, and commenting. I must learn how to retain my font from word in the posting on bookrix. I had 2 distinct fonts for the different parts of the story but they mysteriously posted as the same.

Wonderful! your coining of words is always true to the theme..nothing beyond the need...A night in the wood is worth experiecing from different angles created by introducing two couples in a very typical situation in the wood when mid-night falls and there is the need for shelter in the wood..I would vote in the favour.
