ALLEY
The day started as a nice and calm day. It didn’t seem like nothing could mess up the blue cloudless sky and sweet breezes that blowed once in a while. The birds chirping and the
kids in the front yard yelling and playing hide and seek. But like my grandmother said to me, before she passed away. “If it too good to be true than it is.”
But, like she said it was too good, ‘cause when I looked away from the window and turn back, the sky was grey, the sun was eaten by the dark clouds surrounded them. The kids that were playing joyful in the yard was gone, as if they had evaporated into thin air.
I ran to the door, yanking open and walked onto my porch. And it was like a deserted wasteland in a matter of a turn of a head. The jump rope that the twin sister had was laying on the freshly mowed grass.
Bikes laid on the street, the spokes still circulating. Cars were crashed into trees and curbs of the the driveway.

I woke up to complete quiet, something that I was never use too.
“Kelly, Gab.” there was no reply. “If you are playing with me I’ll beat your butt it not cool.” But just like before there was no reply.
I got up out of the bed and walked to the kitchen where my mom usually at around 4 o’clock cooking but there was nothing on the stove and no mom either. It was time for plan B to look in the dumb waiter we had where my brother and sister hid a lot.
They were missing or they went out to eat and forgot about me. I went back to my room to get my phone. I unlocked it and dial my mom’s number. There was no answer on the other side of the phone. I put my phone back on in my pocket and walked out to my car. Getting inside of the car I turned the key but, the car didn’t start. I tried again
