Just Read your Football surprise story- Great story and do wonder if children would really like it. It does tell a story I am sure many that age can relate to.

Note your interest in fantasy/science fiction. Would appreciate it if you could read with my, A desperate Time, or Beam Down Scotty.

The first is entered in the short story contest; the second is not in any contest, but one I am considering to be part of a published collection of Fantasy stories. Your take on either would be appreciated especially because I all so noticed your interest in poetry and sure hope my prose is at least lyical. thanks

Your six word story brought back memories. When I was 18, or there about, working as a laborer in Milwaukee, shoveling manure or planting tulips in parks, a venerable African American laborer, sixty or so, Mr. King, whose drawl was so thick I understood few of his jokes but laughed at them all to seem one of the guys, had a comment when anyone asked him why he still worked as a laborer, "No money, no honey. No honey no funny." I figured he meant the comment salaciously, but I was too shy to ask him to elaborate.
