I gripped the edge of the chair, Shaking in fear.
The tension left, I relaxed, but it's still there.
I shouted hard and loud so someone could hear.
The moment came and made me jump in the air.

~! I really hate jump scares...

It Never Started

Mark is a fan of reading. He spends almost all of his time inside the library.

One day, when the sun had already set, he had a fated encounter with Hercy, a bookworm just like him. "Do you like this book?" She asked. Mark nodded while being captivated by her profound beauty. He felt drawn in by her clear emerald green eyes. Her hair of a deep black was waving mystically even without any breeze present. Her black dress matches with it perfectly.

Since then, Mark went to the library mainly to see the girl. However, she was only there when the sun had set. "... No wonder she had such beautiful skin..." He muttered in a trance.

One day, when Mark was walking while skipping towards the library, his eyes caught sight of a large image in front of a shop. The image was surrounded with a beautiful white flower, giving contrast to the beauty of the girl in the image.

"No..." Mark shook his head fiercely. He then ran towards the library. The sun had already set when he finally reached his destination. He quickly scanned the surroundings and almost instantly found the one he was looking for.

"Hmmm? What's wrong?" Hercy asked towards the panting Mark. However, mark was startled to the point of freaking out. Hercy was clearly the girl in the image he saw.

"... You're... Dead?" He muttered. Hercy just frowned and turned around. Silence covered the already silent library.
