Synopsis
Friedrich and his best friend were growing up in Germany in the early 1930s. At first, Friedrich seemed to be the more fortunate, but when Hitler came to power, things began to change. Friedrich was expelled from school and became an orphan when his mother died and his father was arrested and deported.

This is a terrifying story of the destruction of a single Jewish family.

But I'll go with the one that has impacted me the most. This book blew my mind, and I still get distracted thinking about it.

Anathem is a speculative fiction novel by Neal Stephenson, published in 2008. Major themes include the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics and the philosophical debate between Platonic realism and formalism.

Synopsis

I recently finished this book and I recommend it to everyone. I'm pretty sure that a great many people can empathize with this character or the other's that are presented throughout. :-)

I was recomended this book I had never heard of from my school's reading list. I finished it and the sequel, and I told all my friends how much I loved it. Now, everyone in my school wants to read it! I recommend this to anyone who loved the Hunger Games.

If you love Harry Potter, take a step back and think before reading this one. I like different kinds of book of magic, but not everyone is like me. This book is for adults, but it not explicit, it's just sophisticated. It still makes feel like a kid when I read it though.
