As soon as he got the code Eli ran to the stairs as fast as he could. He did not stop to see if his dad was following him. He did not care. He was more focused on getting out then getting in trouble. Then suddenly he turned around to see his dad chasing him with a club. That only made him work faster on getting the code in. As soon as Eli got the code in he ran as fast as he could and did not stop until he got to the houses in the distance were he called 911. The cops then came and evacuated the rest of the family.
