Thanks for sharing this, Sam. As the Entrepreneurs Guide at About.com, I used to constantly receive inquiries about starting and running a small business in various countries around the world, so I did a fair amount of research on the topic myself. It was intriguing to me that in many countries it's actually even easier to start a business in the U.S., and yet, once you get going there are so many challenges you may face -- simple things that we take for granted here, like reliable communications infrastructure and a relatively corruption-free government.
