The famous Brtish criminologist, Doctor Alistair Basham is summoned to the town of Hesterton by his wife who working with university archeologists uncovers the bodies of seven newborn babies in a place called Rose Bog.
Basham then works with an inexperienced investigator, Inspector Alfred Godwin helping him solve the case.

I find it quite disconcerting to run across many instances when a sentence is broken only to be continued in the next paragraph. Otherwise sentence structuring seems to be done well and spelling is exemplary. I'm about a third the way through the novel (page 51). It's a fascinating mystery and quite well presented so I am enjoying it in spite the small distractions.
It is an interesting case and well worth the time it would take to redo the editing and straighten it out. I enjoyed it, all the same.
