The Case Of The Bog Bodies

 The famous Brtish criminologist, Doctor Alistair Basham is summoned to the town of Hesterton by his wife who working with university archeologists uncovers the bodies of seven newborn babies in a place called Rose Bog.

   Basham then works with an inexperienced investigator, Inspector Alfred Godwin helping him solve the case.

My first impression of this mystery novel is that it could have been much improved by entering it one chapter at a time in the editor. It is impossible to skip back to a previous chapter and find your way back.

I find it quite disconcerting to run across many instances when a sentence is broken only to be continued in the next paragraph. Otherwise sentence structuring seems to be done well and spelling is exemplary. I'm about a third the way through the novel (page 51). It's a... Show more

It is an interesting case and well worth the time it would take to redo the editing and straighten it out. I enjoyed it, all the same.
