Su un muretto accanto ad una chiesetta del Südtirol erano poggiati 4 teschi. Sopra si trovava un cartello con la scritta: Chi era lo stolto? Chi era il saggio? Chi il mendicante? Chi l’imperatore? In effetti della potenza e della ricchezza dell’imperatore non c’é più nessuna traccia. Sul teschio del mendicante nulla rammenta la sua povertà, i suoi abiti stracciati ed i brontolii del suo stomaco. A questo punto potremmo ritenere opportuno predisporre un altro cartello con la scritta: «La morte rende tutti uguali!».
Qui di seguito esaminiamo la validità di questa seconda scritta. In pubblicità si distinguono diverse categorie di consumatori: vale a dire che ci si rapporta a diversi gruppi target. La morte invece non fa distinzione fra gruppi target specifici in quanto nessuno le può sfuggire. Questo è il motivo per cui molti si sono occupati del tema della morte: filosofi, poeti, politici, sportivi, attori, analfabeti così come Premi Nobel....
