Proč je tolik utrpení?

Sotva asi najdeme jinou otázku, která by lidi tak zaměstnávala. Vynořuje se zejména tehdy, pokud se jedná o Boha. Většina lidí si myslí: Pokud existuje milující a všemohoucí Bůh, pak by na tomto světě nemělo být žádné utrpení a žádná smrt! Je toto tvrzení správné? Tomu se zde chceme věnovat.
Čtyři logické možnosti
Z logického hlediska mohou být na otázku, proč Bůh dopouští na tomto světě utrpení a smrt, čtyři různé odpovědi:
1) Buď Bůh utrpení odstranit chce, ale nemůže,
2) nebo může, ale nechce,
3) nebo nemůže a nechce,
4) nebo může a chce ho.
Která z těchto odpovědí je ta správná? Přesně to si teď objasníme!...
