I personally don't think this is finished. You've begun a pretty outstanding novel, as I see the story progression. Chapter divisions, too, unlike in a short story. The building of characters, the prelude, as it were. And one of the things that struck me was the fact that Atarah cancelled her flight to Greece, opting for a much later one on a private jet. WHY? Well it is a good book, but I think I know the reason to why no one read it on wattpad, you see, on wattpad, good books have amazing covers.. I think it's about the cover.
The cover here isn't the one I used on Wattpad. This one I just threw together to get the book posted. I would hope, though, that readers there aren't that shallow, especially since some of the best books ever written had completely uninteresting covers. What's that saying? You... Show more

I put the first six up, though, to see if I got a good response. This isn't my usual genre, and I dashed if off during those 30 gut-wrenching days in November for NaNoWriMo. I wasn't sure, because of the deadline stuff, if it was any good, so I took the liberty of only putting the start of it here. But now, having gotten such an encouraging, lovely comment, I'll get the remainder the book posted today.

Okay - done! The remaining nine chapters have been posted, reformatted, and proofed. I've discovered that in order for the program here to do the paragraphing right, you have to manually delete all hard returns and the spaces the program adds, then hit return again to get the next paragraph to appear without a space between it and the previous one and be properly indented. It's a lot of work, but in the end worth it. Anyway, it's done. Ta-da!
The entire seventeen chapters are posted. Hope you're able to finish reading this. The biggest challenges were the use of show-not-tell, correct POV, and a logical story arc. Since this isn't a highly-polished and edited version, I probably made a lot of errors on all three fronts, but what fun this was to write, and how exciting the ongoing learning process!

I DO have to double space in between each paragraph, but that's only because the Word doc is all single. It reads funny here without spacing between new paragraphs. BTW, I am using Firefox. When I use Chrome (to read), the Bookrix book looks totally weird, format-wise:(
