In general, your knowledge of the psychological and physical impact of a population enduring harsh conditions during reconstruction is great, and you crafted a great story from it. However, I noticed that much of your rhythm is interrupted by a habit of repeating your ideas and themes too frequently. This sort of thing is usually fixed by being aware that the habit is there, and by practice, so don't stress to hard over it. This was an enjoyable read, and I would love to see you continue to grow.
