...this is what one can truly call a "literary vignette"- short and complete. I love vignettes like I love a charming glass of french wine. But, from your standpoint, one could say that the piece is like spicy hot sauce sprinkled over salty potato chips-crunchy and delicious to the last chew!

some of your phrasing is just so poignantly graphic and gives a fine blend to the story. I wont critique or detail here, but suffice to say that the more I read the more I am impressed that you got a lot more "stuff" that you can let out the "top of your head..." when you decide.
