I was going through my friends sites to see if there were any book posted for the current contest. I had not read Gibbon Island and as it was not in a contest I saved it for later reading. However, I had a few minutes before the coffee was brewed and decided to start reading the story.

I am not overly fond of spiders and while I do not kill because they do keep the other bugs under control, I was thinking, "Do I really want to read about spiders?'" Telling myself, "Be brave", I forged ahead.

Well, the coffee is brewed and I do have a cup at hand but I did not pour until I read the last word in your story.

This was very entertaining and I look forward to reading more of your 'stories'. Paula
